I'm BAAAAAACK!

It is official!  I am now back from maternity leave!  Let me tell you, if I didn't absolutely LOVE my job I would never come back.  Shooting this lovely couple just reaffirmed how fortunate I am to earn a living doing something I am passionate about.  We lucked out with ideal lighting conditions, finally a day over 40 degrees, not to mention the absolutely darling couple and fabulous dress/flowers!  Thank you D and T for including me in your incredible start to a long life together.  Can't wait for the wedding!

My first unofficial day back to work and what a wonderful way to spend it! These two rarely needed any posing direction, they were so comfortable with each other it really made my job easy! Can't wait to see the wedding day images! :) Thanks A and D!

After many, many persuasion tactics were used (mainly guilt) I was finally able to talk my husband into posing with Maya. I LOVE what we came up with this morning. :)

Both mom and baby are doing well. Our cup runneth over.

Happy Birthday Miss Julia! It's a little early but the celebrating has begun! Thank you for coming in before I left on maternity leave. I would have been too sad to miss this milestone!

I am so happy to announce that this was my last wedding before taking maternity leave and EVERYTHING was perfect! It was the kind of wedding that makes you want to shoot a million more just like it. Everybody was on time, the flowers, dress, tuxes etc were so stylish and original and the bride and groom were so totally in love and comfortable together they needed very little direction for posing. I got such a great ab workout from laughing and giggling at this bride and groom with their great inside jokes and songs for every occasion. :) Thank you B and C for a wonderful way to say goodbye to weddings for a couple months. You guys rock!

More to come from this fun winter wedding. I have lucked out with very tough brides that brave the freezing temps to get the great images. Thank you M and P for having me be a part of your very special day. :)
